Spell Check.

In my last post, do I say 'affect' or 'effect'?
I haven't learned the difference between the two.

You want effect in that case.

Actually, you wanted "affect."

Affect is to influence or alter something. As in, "His study was to show how alcohol affects the body."

Effect is a result of something. As in, "The effect of the antibiotic was outstanding."

or... When you AFFECT a situation, you have an EFFECT on it.

Hope that helps...

It would actually be affect. Effect is a noun. Affect is a verb.

As an English major, I can assure you that Britney and Anonymous are correct. :o)

I can also tell you affect is correct.
Jarred is dumb.
Also, your boss should have said "I know there are" not "is".
